Using History Bell Ringers
First, students review skills such as finding strong evidence to support claims, writing good commentary, citing evidence in various ways, and paraphrasing. Then, students practice the skill by analyzing text from primary sources, secondary sources, and maps with a multiple-choice question per day. Answers and explanations are a click away!
As students are hard at work on their history bell ringer each day, teachers can use this quiet time to take care of housekeeping tasks. For example, teachers can take attendance, check homework, or prep assignments.
